Skills Required:
  • Mainframe Architect must have at least 5 years of broadly based mainframe experience.
  • Candidate will have a proven track record of Mainframe zOS, DASD, Tape (Native and Cached), and Mainframe Operations with Business Continuance and DR. 
  • Preference will be given to Architect having prior experience as sysadmin / System Programmer in a user Mainframe environment for min 3 years. 
  • Should be familiar with z/OS and specially DFSMS, DFHSM, Tape management systems (at least one of the list: CA-1, TLMS, RMM, ZARA, CTRL-T), HCD/IOCD, SMF/RMF. 
  • Familiarity with IBM VTS and/or STK VSM and/or IBM VTFM will be a plus.
  • Must have deep knowledge of mainframe operations. 
  • Ability to present how the solution applies to their environment & assist in Mainframe Tape Studies.
