- Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors in Engineering
- Certification(s): Courses in Communication
- Experience Required: 4 years or above - relevent experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Optimization of assigned BSCs/Cluster/City and compliance of Key Performance Indicators of voice and data network, such as: CSSR DCR , MPD etc
- Participate in daily activities on regional basis that includes but not limited to Network Quality related stats monitoring and Arranging and performing (if required) Routine and Issue based Drive
Testing
- Participate in daily activities on regional basis that includes but not limited to Network Quality related stats monitoring and Arranging and performing (if required) Routine and Issue based Drive
Testing
- Regular follow up on Cell Level, BSC Level, City Level Statistics
- Database, Parameters, Thresholds and Timer Optimization and Generation of all sorts of Work Orders to NOC for required changes
- Periodic and Issue Based Spectrum Analysis for external and internal interference
- Regular follow up with FOPS for operational issues resolution of assigned BSC/Cluster/City
- Active follow up for resolution of worst performing cells of assigned BSC/Cluster/City
- New feature testing for quality improvement purpose
- LAC optimization coordination with BSS planning and sharing of databases with all stake holders
- Network BSS parameter update/ audit
- Providing support to senior team members on need basis
- Takes initiative in streamlining established processes and guiding the team in
improving their efficiency
- Mentoring the junior team members and overlooking the team in absence of AM
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:- Interpersonal & Presentation skills
- Good communication skills in English (both verbal & written).
- Excellent computer knowledge in general and specifically in Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EDGE architecture
- GSM enhanced capacity & coverage features
- Radio Frequency propagation and modulation basics
- Problem solving, organizational and analytical abilities
- Knowledge of Basic optimization parameters and procedures
