- The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing overall standards and quality of all postgraduate medical education (PGME) programmes.

- He/she will ensure that appropriate objectives, learning experience and evaluation systems are in place and that the programmes are gregularly reviewed. 

- The incumbent will liaise closely with the Medical Director and Department Chairs to ensure that PGME Trainees fulfill the obligation of providing high quality patient care services and will serve as the main liaison person with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and such bodies that are involved in postgraduate medical education in Pakistan.
- Candidates should be faculty members at least at the level of Associate Professor at a reputed university, with a successful track record of leadership in Residency programmes. 

- The should have a strong leadership and administrative credentials, excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to project the University and its PGME programmes appropriately to stakeholders, peers and the community in general.
