Experience Required:
- Minimum one year experience in analysis, planning, development, execution and closure of testing with reporting, result analysis and verification as per testing standards and practices.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of quality assurance methodologies and practices, SDLC/PDLC processes and standards including designing of business workflows and logic, release management, build versioning, testing, bug identification and fixing.
- Sound knowledge and experience of object oriented analysis and design including .NET 3.5/4, ASP.NET, C#, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, ADO.NET, Web Services, XML, database design and administration including Oracle PL/SQL, data structures, algorithms, coding, and standard testing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:- Prepare test case specifications and scenarios, generate test data, create and execute test plan as per required functional specifications. Ensure that software and applications are properly tested, all bugs are properly logged, tracked and updated in bug tracking system. Track, monitor and follow-up on the bug identification and its resolution.
- Provide support in defining, implementing, monitoring and testing of defined standards in software, business applications, SDLC/PDLC processes and procedures. Ensure that code is properly written, integrated, tested and verified with rest of the application according to standard quality procedures and practices.
- Carry out compliance audits and testing to ensure that all procedures are operating effectively with appropriate controls. Prepare audit and test reports to identify areas that require attention, recommend necessary changes where required and ensure implementation of any actions agreed.
- Participate in software and product development lifecycle during analysis, design, testing, and implementation of software solutions that meets the quality, performance, functional and technical requirements as established in functional design document aligned with company business requirements.
- Define, prioritize and complete all tasks as per agreed project plan. Anticipate and catch deviations from a plan or schedule immediately when they arise and update all team members and stakeholders on time.
- Participate in the research and development in order to understand and incorporate industry standards and best practices in software and product quality. Keep up to date with the latest technologies and developments in quality assurance/engineering to ensure that the department continues to take advantage of new ideas and developments.
- Involve in the development of policies, standards, guidelines, and support documentation that direct the selection, development, implementation, quality assurance, testing and use of application within and outside the organization.
- Develop, implement and follow all necessary policies and procedures required for Telenor internal controls and compliance.
- Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas: Good coding skills in .NET 3.5/4, ASP.NET, C#, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, ADO.NET, Web Services, XML, database design and administration including Oracle PL/SQL, data structures, algorithms, coding, and standard testing techniques.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Passion for quality products, where testing together with quality design and implementation are key elements.
- Desire to make things better through continuous process improvement and automation.
- Very good analytical skills and ability to function at both the implementation and conceptual level.
- SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), PDLC (Product Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Knowledge of HP testing tools like Quality Center, Load Runner and Quality Test Pro (QTP) will be an added advantage.
