Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible to provide curative care and preventive awareness for children, women and men on the recommended schedule.
- Identifies high-risk cases and diseases not curable at project level and ensures an effective and timely referral to hospital.
- Assist in preparation of IEC (Information, Education & Communication) materials on various health issues.
- Conduct of health talks on primary, reproductive, preventive and general health issues.
- Conducting issue specific health awareness sessions (facility/community based).
- Responsible to work as project team member according to the schedule provided for the implementation.
- Actively take part in capacity building particularly in health awareness rising, of the staff and counterpart.

Professional Requirements:
- MBBS degree from an HEC recognized institute with PMDC registration
- At least 3 years of relevant experience with minimum 1 year experience of working with community in any rural area of Pakistan.
- Keen ability to motivate through example; adept at building capacity in others.
- Excellent inter-personal skills.
- Excellent computer skills, command on MS Office.
- Proven ability to build effective teams and create consensus.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and vision.
- Communication Skills (English, Urdu and local language would be preferred)
- Excellent report writing, presentation & communication skills required.
- Well aware of pertinent issues. Local residents will be preferred
