Head of Marketing Required in Subsidery of ORASCOM - Islamabad

Our Client is an ORASCOM TELECOM company with offices in Islamabad , Lahore and Karachi . The company has built its own private submarine network between Pakistan and two locations in the Middle East and provides internet and voice connectivity to the large telecom operators and ISPs of Pakistan. In three years of existence, it has acquired over 40% market share and is now a major bandwidth to the broadband and cellular industry of Pakistan . Position: Head of Marketing
Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

Lead and manage Company’s marketing efforts. Position and brand Company’s as a leading regional cable operator. Responsible for marketing strategy, planning, budgeting, and pricing. Guide Marketing Team for execution of different marketing programs. Create tools for sales team to help it achieve revenue target and market share.

Job Functions/Responsib ilities (listing most important first):
-Lead Company’s marketing efforts including strategy, planning, budgeting, pricing, and execution of marketing programs.
-Define marketing, product management, and pricing strategy.
-Develop and write annual marketing plan and budget.
-Recommend tariffs for all Company’s services.
-Create tools for sales team to help it achieve revenue target. Monitor leads generated by marketing to see if they are being followed up by sales.
-Guide assistant marketing manager with distribution of tasks between different assistant managers
-Guide assistant manager, marketing intelligence in areas such as market research, competitive analysis, customer survey, market sizing, tariffs, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities (if any):
-Evaluate performance of marketing team
-Evaluate training needs of marketing staff and recommend training courses for them to HR.

Qualifications:
1. MBA from a top tier Pakistan Business school including IBA, LUMs or SZABIST or a reputable foreign university
2. An undergraduate Engineering degree is preferred
3. Training in Program management and marketing program management is preferred

Experience:
1. At least 5 years experience in a marketing manager or senior position with a reputable multinational or branded local company preferably in the telecom or IT sector.
2. At least 2 years experience managing a marketing team with content creation, marketing intelligence and marketing program development responsibilities.
3. Proven track record of success in execution of marketing programs, content creation and market intelligence activities.
