Job Responsibilities
Job Requirement:
- • Set, follow up, and amend the strategic Products and services roadmap.
- • Define, follow and improve a product / service development / launch process.
- • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time with exceptional quality from cradle to grave.
- • Develop detailed business requirements to drive cross functional teams in the design and implementation of this product.
- • Take lead responsibility for decisions with regards to feature/timeline tradeoffs, user interface decisions, and all other product related issues.
- • Work with external partners to drive delivery of hardware elements that are critical to this product release.
- • Develop solid understanding of WiMAX and other wireless and radio technologies.
- • Manage budget for all product related activities including the product development phase and ongoing management of the product.
- • Determine and analyze current and future product characteristics and pricing plans for all products to ensure competitiveness in the market place.
- • Develop business plans as well as internal/external product positioning rationale.
- • Maintain expert knowledge of the product (s)/product line(s).
- • Seek to introduce and manage VAS.
- • Manage the development team through the communicated and committed roadmap of the P&S.
- • Coach the P&S development team toward their objectives.
- • Forecast and monitor the communicated and committed revenue of the P&S.
- • Conduct Post Product/Service launch analysis and manage that performance throughout product lifecycle.
- • Duties and responsibilities outlined may vary over time and are subject to management review and amendment
- • Any other tasks assigned by direct superior/ head of department.
Job Requirement:
- • MBA (concentration in Marketing preferred) from an HEC recognized university.
- • 5 to 7 years of product management/development experience with consumer-oriented wireless services with responsibility for taking products from concept to market.
- • Strong product marketing background with deep technical knowledge and experience preferably in the consumer wireless and/or broadband industries.
- • Ability to understand and analyze competitive market and industry trends providing recommendations on product positing that will enable this product to be successful.
- • Excellent financial modeling and business case development.
- • Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
- • Technical product marketing experience with end user consumer products including both hardware and software. Prefer experience with consumer oriented wireless hardware product.
