Qualification and Eligibility: BCS/BIT/BSE (04 years degree) (1st Div) OR MCS/MIT (1st Div) after 2 years Bachelor Degree OR
BE/B.Sc (Engg) (Computer/IT) (1st Div)
Personal Qualities/Traits:
- Must be dedicated, proactive, full of initiative and drive Capable of working in team environment
- Capable of handling a corporate datacenter environment independently with little or no supervision
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills Required Technical Skills:
- Must be able to install, manage and secure a server
- Must be well conversed with Linux editors
- Process & File System Management
- Managing Users & Quotas
- Managing Hard Drives (Storage) & Backups
- Managing Automated Tasks & Updates
- Networking, Webmin, VNC, SSH, Kernel Management, X Window System
- Server Security including SELinux & iptables
- Must be very good in Shell Scripting, PERL & Python
- Troubleshooting skills, ability to perform tests, Inspect error logs etc.
- Must be an expert in configuring Apache, Sendmail, FTP, DHCP, LDAP/NIS, Samba, AFS/NFS, DNS, Mysql Server, Syslog, Squirrel Mail, Squid Server
- Skills in Windows Administration
- Skills in managing VMware based corporate virtual infrastructure
