Responsibilities:- Oversee the entire function of Finance, Accounting, Costing, payroll, and Tax and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial statements and statutory filling,
- Prepare financial budgets and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and company budget.
- Put in place risk management controls and procedures.
- Ability to make improvement to system and procedures to increase efficiency.
- Act as a business partner and provide support to country GM in running the business unit and formulating strategic and long-term business plans.
- Liaison with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk

Requirements:

- Accounting degree or professional qualified accountant like chartered Accountant
- Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experiences in an accounting function with at least 3 years at senior management level.
- Knowledge of taxes laws and statutory requirements.
- Knowledge of dealing with foreign currency.
- Possesses strong leadership qualities.
- Good interpersonal skills and team player
- Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written
- Work experience in shipping industry will be preferred, though not necessary.
