Network Administrator at Pakistan Engineering Council - Islamabad

Applications are invited for employment in Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad for the under mentioned vacancies on prescribed forms (available at address below & website www.pec.org.pk)

Maximum age is 55 years. Persons already serving in any department must obtain NO objection Certificate from respective department. The station for which candidates wan to apply must be marked on top right corner of the envelope as well application form.
Network Administrator PEC-17 (Islamabad)
Qualification: 
M.Sc. Computer Science or B.Sc./BS/B.E. in Computer/Software Engineering or Computer System Engineering (4 years) from a recognized university registered with PEC in case of engineer. CCNA, MCSE certification is a must. CCNP certification shall be a plus.

Experience: 
Minimum Three years hand on experience with proven track in a similar role having intensive expertise to install, configure, maintain, modify upgrade, troubleshoot the network. Must possess strong skills of Cisco/HP routers/switches, security devices, firewalls VPN configuration, intrusion detection system, UPS, Backup libraries, SAN, KVM switches, network access servers and repair process for all related issues to ensure effective interconnectivity of the LAN/WAN network operating systems with 24×7×365 availability. Must be able to manage the acquisition, Maintenance and performance of the LAN/WAN with support to desktop users and video conferencing systems. Establish policies and procedures for the network, users and data backups. The candidate should possess excellent verbal and written skills to prepare documentation and comparisons to meet user and council’s needs.
