Director of Sales and Marketing - Karachi

- Reporting to: General Manager
- Property: 5-Star Deluxe property located in Karachi.
- The DOS&M will take charge of all sales & marketing of the hotel as directed by the General Manager.

Main Responsibilities for the role:
- Preparing and implementing annual sales & marketing plans. Delivering top line revenue in accordance with annual budget
- Strategically manage key Tour Operator relationships via continual direct communication using e-mail, telephone, encouraging FAM trips in accordance with your Business Plan and as directed.
- Continually define a rate and occupancy strategy, to consistently achieve RevPAR targets, and grow market share, flexing immediately changes in market conditions. Ensure alignment with resort branding and positioning.
- Develop and implement a marketing budget to include advertising, PR, collaterals, online marketing, and sales trips. Ensure expenditure is in line with budget and supports overall efforts to meet and exceed targets set for occupancy and rate
- Ensure responsibility to capture accurate client data base/guest profile, creatively using this in line with privacy expectations of our clients.
- Adopt a keen sense of market place intelligence
- Ensure accuracy, distribution & timely production of all sales reports pertaining to your department. These include historic, actual and forecast reports as directed.
- Leading team motivation and productivity. Ensure staff efficiencies and welfare is managed in the highest order. Create a Team ethic whereby you are leading by example
- Co-operate and maintain relationships with other Department Heads and other resort management
- Duty Management

Professional qualifications:- Higher National Diploma in Hotel Management with a specialization in sales from a reputable institution or equivalent.
- Additional sales Qualifications, proof of Seminar exposure
- Certifications and Associations would be advantageous.
Length and type of Experience:- At least 5 years Sales & Marketing years experience in preferably Luxury Hotel brands, including managing European/Middle Eastern and Asian Tour Operators.
- Some operational experience with refined personalised guest service and standards in multi cultural locations will constitute a definite advantage.
- We will also consider candidates from key luxury Tour Operators or similar.

Attractive salary on five star capacity basis.
