A VAS Platforms Executive in Network Services department of Technology Division is responsible for the planning, implementation, roll-out, capacity management & enhancement and upgrades of VAS Platforms in the unit. The person will work to ensure smooth roll out of upcoming VAS platforms keeping an eye on milestones, deliverables and timelines. He/She will be responsible to coordinate and execute all activities in this area in such a way so that the maximum efficiency and performance is achieved and to develop new scripts/applications/programs whenever required to enhance the functionalities of both new and platforms.

Degree(s)/Major(s): BS/MS Degree majoring in Computer - - Science / IP networking / Telecommunication
Experience Required: 2-3 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and project management of new and existing VAS
- Technology selection, rollout, capacity planning and performance improvement of VAS
- Perform technical feasibility studies on potential new VAS
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of VAS Platforms
- Gather and formulate functional and technical requirements from business into scope plans, and proceed w with internal or vendor related product development
- Respond to queries and complaints from other business units regarding VAS platforms; including the preparation of usage stats and analytical reports.
- Educate and support 3rd party and internal business units regarding different APIs available on VAS platforms.
- Participate in vendor evaluation sessions for different VAS products and take a lead on technical inspection and negotiation of the product
- Plan short and long term network architecture and capacity needs
- Manage vendors and technical SMEs during project implementation
- Documentation of support activities, troubleshooting guides and help materials.
- Participation in R&D routines aligned with VAS Strategy and roadmap with implementation or development of such.
