The Electrical Engineer will work in the Technical Assistance department and will be responsible of providing Technical Assistance to Operation and Maintenance Deptt.
An excellent renumeration package will be offered based on the qualification, expertise and experience.
Following are the principle functions of job profile:
-Analyze and investigate on daily basis, in collaboration with the Operations and Maintenance team, the failures, trips and/or abnormalities on each power and desalination block.
–Make electrical assessments of the plant systems and initiate plant system performance improvements, in collaboration with the Operation and Maintenance team.
—Follow-up specific preventive maintenance on the plant (i.e. partial discharge on HV switchgear and generators).
- Analyze the logics of critical powerplant systems and resume them in excellent written reports, in collaboration with the Maintenance and Operation team.
Qualifications:
Languages,
Excellent English language with superior writing skills.
Experience:
-Electrical/Power Engineering Degree.
-Al least a total of 5 years in operation and maintenance in a large combined cycle power plant.
- Experience with generators and machine protections is a plus.
Personal:
-Be able to read and understand technical contracts and requirements (i.e. EPC contract).
-Having knowledge of International standards (like IEEE, IEC, NFPA,..) is a plus.
-Have feeling for detail and order.
-Have excellent reporting qualities.
-Respect deadlines.
-Dynamic, committed, and good sense of team spirit.
