Location: Lahore , Pakistan (A leading Multinational company in buying and retail)
Job Description:
Accomplishing Company’s commercial policies, norms and procedures, the Buyer will ensure the achievement of key performance figures of assigned targeted annual sales, gross profitability and “other income” through a concerted approach in the negotiation of price/volume/ margin/promotion al deals with suppliers and constant attention to assortment.
Ensures sales volumes and profit margins by efficient buying and selling of given product mix.
Monitors sales and stock levels in the stores.
Coordinates with store operations staff concerning ordering, delivery/receiving of products and other related problems.
Monitors competitors’ prices and product assortment through surveys.
Conducts a market analysis to assist the Sr. Manager / Director Commercial in decision-making.
Contacts suppliers and stores to ensure all correct information are relayed.
Maintains records of suppliers’ agreements, orders and other documents.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Managed exports valued10 million per month in relevant field.

In-depth market information
Analytical with good command over numbers e.g. complex calculations / percentages

Resourceful with attention to details
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Computer Literate specially with MS Excel
Required Qualification:
B.COM, BBA / Economics (Preferably MBA)
Required Experience:
At least 10 years textile & apparel industry related experience, preferably with buying houses.
