Job Responsibilities
- Managing multiple Production and Development environments.
- Troubleshooting Problems reported from Developers and End-users.
- Hands-on experience administering Oracle Applications 9i/10g databases, System Administration.
- Daily System Administration and Monitor Backup Schedules
- Service Requests (Add Users etc), In addition to special projects out of a Priorities Task
- Experience with cloning Test and Development environments from Production Oracle Applications environment.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Knowledge and experience with Multi-Node and Multi-Tier Applications environments, and managing RAC databases.
- Experience and in-depth understanding of Oracle backup and recovery methodologies, Strong skills in RMAN.
- Experience in database reorganization, migration, planning capacity, Disaster Recovery.
- Strong in depth experience in database performance tuning, SQL tuning.
- Experience with Oracle Application Server versions 9i and 10G, Familiarity with Oracle Replication and Oracle security
Will be preferred
- Good knowledge of Linux, Java and Database Administration.
- Oracle Certified Professionals – DBA Track
