Job Responsibilities:
Job Requirement:
- • Supervise short and long term objectives for the division.
- • Prepare projects budget and design major project and approve or seek approval from direct management.
- • Responsible for regional design, network optimization, performance engineering, traffic engineering, and frequency planning activities.
- • Responsible for the performance of the network and the optimization projects
- • Coordinates network performance data with network design analysis and ensure the principal performance indicators are measured, maintained, and reflect system quality measures from the customer's perspective.
- • Design new cell sites.
- • Optimizing the existing Radio Network.
- • Drive test and evaluate network coverage and quality of service.
- • Analyze Drive test logs.
- • Perform analysis of the cell sites performance Statistics
- • Assists in review and development of radio system design and in conducting performance tasks in markets.
- • Assists in the design of the RF digital wireless network and in ensuring that the network coverage, C/I, and blocking objectives are met.
- • Uses various measurement tools to collect and analyze relevant data including Spectrum Analyzers,
- • Oscilloscope, RF Power meters, VSWR measurement tools, GPS system, RF data collection tools, RF Field Strength meters, and service monitors.
- Complete TRC Applications for new cell sites.
- • Complete TRC for equipment Type Approval applications
- Assists the RF team in traffic management, Traffic modelling and traffic growth projections.
- • Spectrum analysis.
- • Perform technical evaluations for new products and tools.
- • Supports the team with C/I studies, sectorization planning, frequency planning, and developing growth and system optimization plans.
- • Design frequency plan for existing network.
- • Perform model tuning for planning tools.
- • Perform Intermodulation analysis, Isolation studies and EMF calculations.
- • Supervise contractors and support associate team members.
- • Should have full working knowledge of software and tools like (Analysis tools, Planet, Planning tools. .etc.)
- • Supervise contractors and trainees.
- • Duties and responsibilities outlined may vary over time and are subject to management review and amendment
- • Any Other tasks assigned by the direct superior or Head of Department.
Job Requirement:
- • Four-year technical degree preferred BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- • Computer skills are a must. Should be able to use MS office package and other programs.
- • Test equipments knowledge is required for Volt meter, watt meter and should be able to learn to use Spectrum analyzer, network analyzer and Site Master.
- • Should be able to carry and use the test tools for the job.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential to this position.
- • Leadership skill to handle a team of 1 to 5 engineers.
- • Training/ Basic Knowledge Required:

- • Software Programming
- • 3 to 5 years of related RF engineering experience is required. Should have solid RF Engineering basics and to be able to perform Associate RF Engineers duties efficiently.
