Qualifications
·Seven to eight years of IT project delivery experience
different roles with minimum 3 years of project management experience.
·Proven leadership skills in project management and
consulting
·Demonstrate an understanding of the operations of an
offshore IT services center. Must have experience of leading large projects and
geographically-
·Demonstrated ability to determine the key business
issues and develop appropriate strategies and action plans.
·Should be able and willing to travel to US and other
client locations on need bases
·Must have excellent verbal communication skills,
presentation skills, including the ability to lead discussions and communicate
effectively with diverse individuals and groups to elicit information and gain
agreement
·Excellent working knowledge of system and software
integration technologies, techniques, and methodologies
·Interfaces regularly with senior management to produce timely and valuable results
·Sets the strategic direction of projects
·Determines goals and priorities with management team
sponsors at client end
·Establishes team membership and negotiates time
commitments and resources.
·Develops proposals for clients outlining proposed
project structure, approach and work plan
·Provides leadership to project teams, as well as manages
liaison with other function heads to successful delivery of the projects.
·Develops plans for requirement gathering and analysis;
participates significantly in interpreting analysis and developing action plans
accordingly.
·Produces or oversees development of written materials
for senior executives and other key clients.
·Plans, facilitates
and participate in meetings during USA Pacific time.
·Makes formal presentations to various senior level
audiences
·Assists, as needed, in planning and coordinating with
other ongoing teams and projects to maximize effectiveness
·Participates in the development and management of the
offshore delivery team, including coaching, recruiting, conducting performance
reviews for software delivery staff, and other departmental activities
