Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of multimedia developers
o Hire qualified multimedia developers
o Train team periodically
o Arrange weekly meetings with rolling agenda with MM team and with PMs
- Co-ordinate with other team managers (ID, QA and Project Managers )
- Report to Production Manager
- Apply instructional design and user interface design theories to storyboard paper based content in the LCMS.
- Work in collaboration with the Production team to create well organized, and consistent web-based training based on provided instructional design.
- Facilitate team to develop user-friendly and engaging interactivities to enhance student learning.
- Ensure timely delivery of quality
- Assist with Bugs filed as need arises
- Research and explore new technologies in eLearning
Job Activities/Duties:
- Work on the content management tool (LCMS).
- Actively provide feedback and suggestions in order to improve course quality and processes within the Production team.
- Meet quarterly goals.
- Define team goals
- Be proactive; develop strategies to improve performance; Team performance, Individual’s performance and Product/course performance.
- Attend weekly department meeting; and arrange internal departmental meetings;
- keep meeting minutes
- Meet with PODs and PMs weekly-- keep meeting minutes
- Responsible for assigning team goals and evaluating them
- Perform performance review for each team member at the end of the year
- Handle the teams administration related issues
- Provide management with reports and data as needed
- Approve attendance; follow up with HR and accounts as needed
- Monitor team progress through JIRA and in person
- Enter hours worked per project in JIRA
- Resolve team issues and concerns
- Identify training programs for teams and follow up to ensure such training is attended
- Work on bugs that are assigned and updated progress on JIRA
- Facilitate team to meet ETA
Skills required:
- Diploma in Multimedia or Graduate in Multimedia/IT is must ; with preferable Masters degree in management or similar discipline
