JD for Utilties Manager:
Candidate who have worked on Waukesha, Caterpiller, and Jenbaucher Generators will be prefered.
REPORT TO: GM Utility
AGE LIMIT : 35-45 yrs
SALARY : Rs. 75k - 125k (Gross)
EDUCATION : ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
PROFESSIONAL COURSES: B.E (Mechanical / Electrical preferable) Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council desirable
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10 Years experience in Utility plants including power generation industry.(Atleast 5 years experience as Plant Manager) Experience of Project Management will be an added qualification
OTHER SKILLS
*Knowledgeable of Various Utilities such as power systems, power plants, controls and gas turbines & steam engines, chilling plant, water treatment, steam generation and distribution.·
*Should be capable carrying out design calculations on pipe and valve sizing and various utility equipment
*Should be proficient with MS office have working knowledge of MS Project & MS Visio is desirable but not essential
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with minimal direction
*Ability to communicate with all internal levels of the company and all levels of external customers
*Good communication and presentation skills.·
*Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).·
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Management of the entire utility network in diversified locations in an efficient manner.
*Act as the technical interface to company management for all resources relative to design, output, availability and performance of the utility areas.
*Verifying proposal drawings and documentation received from consultants and suppliers
*Verifying proposal drawings and documentation received from consultants and suppliers
*Translation of users / clients requirement to define project scope and clarification of user questions.
*Interpret manufacturers requirements to determine proper configuration of power, water, steam and other utility regeneration.
*Ensure the on time completion of all assigned and proposal activities including business initiatives for Quality, Cost, Reliability, Performances, etc
*Develop technical capabilities concurrent with execution of position responsibilities
*Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments to the management
*Conduct risk management & HAZOP studies
*Attend internal project meetings to establish strategies for reducing power generation cost and improve operational reliability.
