Job Title: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst
Location: Karachi
Job Type: Full - Time
Work Timings: 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (PST)
Experience: Minimum 3 Year in relevant field
Required Skills:
· Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
· Minimum 3 years of software testing experience in a professional software development environment.
· Experience in testing client server and/or Web-based application software.
· Ability to write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
· Knowledge of software testing tools, including defect tracking software.
· A thorough understanding of the test phase of the Software Development Life Cycle, knowledge of all phases of SDLC.
· Knowledge of HTML, XML, and VB script required. Understanding of SQL and Oracle databases is a plus.
· A positive, quality-oriented, reliable, organized, and flexible individual with an ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused, dynamic environment.
· Strong planning and organizational skills.
· Strong technical writing skills, especially in articulating to technical developers and non-technical account managers.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
Job Description:
· To be responsible to ensure correct functionality of company’s software by verifying that programs functions according to specifications and standards.
· To Provide Software Quality Assurance support for the development of on-board software.
· To Perform Software Quality Assurance activities supporting developers through complete SDLC to produce high value software.
· To assist in planning of Software Quality Assurance activities.
· To provide Software Quality Assurance support for both the in-house development of software and the acquisition of software systems.
· To work within the requirements of the assigned project(s) and Business Unit, controlling, managing and reporting on the assigned Work Packages.
