Education: MBA (MIS / IT)
Experience : 3-5 Years of Experience
Skills required: Ability to develop innovative and effective IT strategies to deal with business issues

Areas of Responsibility: 
-Provides ongoing operational IT support for business applications.
-Maintains appropriate change control processes over business applications.
-Improves the reliability and efficiency of the environments that business applications run on top of (e.g. OS version) in close coordination with DBA & Network Team.
-Compliance with relevant policies and standards related to Application, performance and security.
-Ensures appropriate analysis is carried out of systems/business for new databases and applications to ensure new implementations meet standards and policies.
-Ensures that Disaster Recovery plans are created / updated and tested as applications are implements.
-Oversees implementation of improvements to underlying technologies in line with agreed business plans and vendor-recommended roadmaps.
-Works closely with the Architectures team to keep roadmaps up-to-date and in line with industry good practice.
-Makes recommendations on new technologies that will assist in improving the reliability, maintainability and supportability of business applications
-Ensures that processes that span multiple teams are well coordinated, consistent and support agreed customer service levels.
