Education
· B.F.A in Design or related field.
Experience
· 2+ years of experience at an Interactive Agency, Design Studio, consultant role or similar.
Job Responsibilities
Ideal candidate will be accountable for realistic yet challenging responsibilities including:
· Produce vibrant, elegant and intelligent graphics and animations material for interactive technologies using any of content development/ authoring tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Blender, 3D Studio Max, Maya, etc.
· Developing visual concepts, creating innovative and original designs, and setting art and design direction for developing intuitive UIs.
· Produce mood boards, design sketches, digital page layouts, interactive prototypes, and other design deliverables.
· Closely collaborate with other team members including Product Marketing Managers, Software Engineers, and Field Application Engineers etc to explore and develop awe-inspiring ideas for UIs.
· Participate in pre-production meetings to advice on potential graphics and graphics capabilities.
· Present ideas, concepts, and final deliverables to internal teams.
Requirements
· Passion for digital arts and a solid understanding of design (typography, color theory, composition, animation, storytelling, etc.).
· Familiarity with paper prototyping, rapid prototyping, and iterative design.
· Proficiency in Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash etc.
· Experience with 3D graphics design and familiar with different formats.
· Proactive, organized, self-starter, creative, resourceful, reliable, detail-oriented.
· Fresh thinker who embraces challenges as well as new methods of thinking.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in support of promoting the aesthetic direction of the assigned project.
Additional Requirements
· Basic idea of web development and can design web page applications.
· Solid understanding of the process for designing intuitive site functionality, site architecture, web technologies, user interfaces, and global navigation systems.
· Preferring experience in small-screen GUI design (QVGA, PSP, VGA, WVGA etc)
